Barra de Navidad
After hoving to for several hours so that we could enter during day light, then going aground, fortunately on a rising tide, then abandoning the notion to anchor in the lagoon, as we were not sure of how much room was available, one fellow had 180 feet of rode out in 10 feet of water! It was blowing 20 knots. We found out later there was plenty of room behind the 5 anchored boats. But decided to tie up for our short stay. After all that, next morning we wake to the announcement the French Baker is in the marina, so it was chocolate crescents for breakfast. Not so bad after all.
